Gear - None required all provided by the club

Year 2 - 4  Softball

Clothing - White top and white shorts/longs, suitable soft casual shoes

Gear - None required all provided by the club, some children provide there own bat.

Year 5 - 8  Hardball

Clothing - White top and white shorts/longs, suitable soft casual shoes or cricket boots. Correct underpants. Please understand a real cricket ball is used so reasonable protection of the toes should be considered especially Year 7 & 8. When considering cricket boots those with spriggs must be able to be removed when playing on artificial pitches.

Gear - Each child should have at least a protector (box) to protect the family jewels. If they don't there is at least one provided in the team gear. We recommend children provide their own. Make sure suitable underpants are worn (no boxers) to ensure holding the protector in place. If the child does not have suitable underwear and does not wear a box they will not be allowed to bat. A helmet is also required. Again the club supply helmets in the team gear. Some children prefer their own helmet. Children will not be allowed to bat without wearing a helmet.

Other required items, all provided in the team gear, are:-

  • Pads
  • Batting Gloves
  • Thigh Pads
Left Handers - we try to cater for left handers in all teams. They do require special gloves and in the high end, pads and thigh pads.
